Travel around the world one day!
Yesterday was SA2010 1st night, it was held @ MCS Studio, and I went to watch it live for the 1st time, thus, my feelings was un-describe-able. We were to meet everyone @ Bishan @ 2pm for lunch, and when everyone arrived, we went to 'Pasta Mania' to have our lunch, as our group was too big to sit in 1 table, we were being splited into 3 and another 1 more was added to it when more Elves turn up. Is was also my 1st time eating with so many people, and also the first time having lunch with Elves. Oh, after lunch, they went to Popular and search for something, before we make our way down to MCS, with about 3-4cabs in total, but the fare was rather cheap, not more than $5 and you reach your destination. LoL!! I shared cab with Kelly, Yuting, Huiting. 4 Girls in a dark blue cab, which the starting meter is $3.20, and we paid $4.80 in total. The driver of the cab is quite old, I suppose, and he seems not to know about ytd night SA, haha, cuz he ask us go there for what, and support who. OMG!! We told him '黄俊雄' and he say he dunno young celebs, but know those veretans, such as Chew Chor Meng, etc. I was laughing silently all the way to MCS, cuz the uncle is really cute.
Once reached, @ about 4pm, we went down to our usual carpark to queue up, and there's already many FanClubs in front of us, and I think DYT's FC is the 1st to reach, and followed by NAT's FC. Elves were behind RuiEn's FC, and I think these 2 groups agreed to seat front and back of each other & help to shout for Elvin & RuiEn, cuz both FC intension is to let both IDOLs win the Favourite Character's award, but ended up non of them got it. We were rather sad, cuz the Media Darling award already not ours, and now another Favourite character also not our. How we know, finally there's a Rocket award, and initially we thought is our, but Mark say that the winner is no girl no boy, so we though is Aunty Lucy, even Elvin himself also thought so, but when they announce the winner name, all Elves sitting together tio shocked and we jumped up for joy. My legs become jelly when I heard Elvin's name being announced, and I was holding on to a poster of his, but I saw HuiTing taking pictures of Elvin on stage, so I also took out my camera, but my hand was too shaky to take a good picture of him on stage, cuz I haven CooL myself down yet.
Rocket Award: Elvin Ng -Elvin deserved to be awarded, cuz he really did a good job for Tarzan as compared to Renyi. Is so happy for him in getting this award, this shows that his hard work is being recognised. Elvin say the judge for this category might be the veretans, so this means that many veretans think that he had really improved alot over the years, and I also think that Elvin is a hardworking actor in MCS. Most Villian: Jerry Yeo -Jerry is quite predictable, cuz his role is really evil as Rende, and the drama he represent is a block-buster. Favourite Character: Nat Ho / Jeanette Aw -Nat is quite surprising, cuz he beat the 2 hot-favourite (Tarzan & Xiaobei), actually I think he only over take Tarzan, cuz Xiaobei role is not so recognisable, as compare to Tarzan in Together, but anyway is indeed a big surprise for the audience, even myself, cuz Nat role is not a lead role in The Dream Catcher, and nowadays articles had mention lots about Tarzan winning this award, even the veretans. Lucky Nat is also 1 of my IDOL in MCS -Ch5, so I dun mind him winning, unless that fellow (...) win it over Tarzan. -Jeanette role is also rather surprise, cuz in Together her role also not that good enough as compared to Eelyn, and I prefer Felicia to get this award, cuz 3 of her roles is running in the Top10 past few weeks, and Felicia more '配' Nat. Media Darling: DYT / Joanna Peh -DYT is predictable, cuz is obvious that MCS is promoting DYT currently, but Elves were super disappointed, cuz we wanted Elvin of cuz to win this award. -Joanna to me consider okay, cuz I find her pretty in YHIM drama, and her acting skills can consider the BEST among all princesses. *I @ 1st thought that Elvin will win all 3 awards 'Rocket Award, Favourite Character, Media Darling', but sadly in the end, only 1, but I'm already happy for him, cuz @ least the award he won is the most important award that was being given out last night. 加油!
After the event end, we rush out to the radio gate to wait for Elvin, and he is one of the latest celeb to be out, dunno why, almost all celebs had left after taking photo with their Fans, but Elvin still not out yet, than finally @ around 11+pm he came down from the stairs and drove his car out. LoL!! He is in the car when we start shouting for his name, I think the residents who were staying around must be annoyed by our shouts. OMG!! When he came out of car, he ask us are we going to take pictures, and many responded 'YES', than he say need him to take out that thing or not, of cuz our answer to him is 'YES' again. Elvin than started posing against his car with his trophy in his hand, and it seems to be like we are blocking the other cars which need to pass, so we went in front of his car and continue snapping. He funny eh, say "ooi, you all come take together la, if not everyone like reporters lei". Many people take turns and take photos, not only the Elves, but also members from other FCs. I waited for quite long before my turns come, and I get HuiTing to help me take, cuz she is standing close to me, after taking, I finally got the courage to 'Congrats' him alone. LOL!! I totally can't believe that I did shake hands and congrats him myself, is that just a dream, or it really happen. Oh, but the only thing that wasted is that, almost all Elves dare to ask him for the trophy to hold when taking pictures, except that I dun dare, cuz I'm afraid that I might drop his precious trophy, as my hands will always be shaking when I'm in a near distance with Elvin. Anyway I find that the picture is better than the CNY one, cuz he put his hands over my shoulder that time, and I was trembling all over the body. Lucky this time he placed his hand in his pocket than I can stand more natually beside him. If not, the same thing will happen again. HaHa!! Lastly @ about 11.45pm, he chase us home again, say the same thing, "Go home la, if not later taxi Xtre charge again". LoL!! Dun he have something new to say, than we also say back the same thing, wait you drove off than we go. I think he 'DBT' us, cuz when he get onto his own car, Elvin sighed, maybe he must be thinking that why we enjoy paying Xtra fare so much. OMG!! Of cuz we dun want leave him, '依依不舍' , HaHa!! Elvin got to understand this. I like his car, very nice, with only 2 doors but 4 seats. Oh, Garfield gave him something in 2 A4 paper boxes, and he say he got no place to put in his car, and he open his car boot. 1st time see him putting thing @ the back of the car, when he putting his stuff, he look @ us, and I find that he really look shuai @ all sides. Finally, he went back to his car seats, and closed the door, but he put down the window and say 'BYE' again, before driving off. After he left, we walk back to the main Mediacorp there to wait for cab, I asked my mother to on-call a cab for me, cuz I dun want to wait for a cab alone. That the end of my story for ytd most enjoyable moment @ MCS for SA2010. All thanks to Elves for the company. Audrey, Meling, HuiYun, YuTing, Kelly, RuiBing, HuiTing, Melody, Natalie, Garfield, Tanat, forgot the name for the last girl, she is younger than me. Oh ya, actually HoeTian also meeting us, but dunno why, last minute he didn't even attend the show. OMG!! So wasted the ticket eh, should have inform Audrey earlier, so that she can re-arrange another Elves to cover up his seats. Okay Okay, I think is enough for my story and it shall be photo time. LoL!!
